March: Aquamarine
Aquamarine is a combination of βaquaβ which means βwaterβ and βmarineβ which means βseaβ. The beautiful gemstone is named after the deep blue sea which is why the gem is used by sailors to give them good luck for a safe voyage. Aquamarine is a beautiful blue gemstone.
April: Diamond
Diamonds are one of the rarest gemstones in the world! It is one of the hardest materials which is why it is used as industrial tools. Diamonds are often colorless and the rarest ones come with a hinge of yellow. It is extremely beautiful when the light shines on the stone.

Emerald was derived from the word βsmaragdusβ which translates to green. It is a beautiful rich green gemstone. Most emeralds are heated to produce a concentrated green color. The green color is due to traces of chromium or vanadium in the gemstone.

Opal got its name from a Greek word called βopalliosβ which means βchange in colorβ. Opals have tinges of different colors like green, yellow, blue and pink. The colors change with the angles.
November: Topaz
Topaz came from the word βTopaziosβ which is where Topaz are mined from. Topaz are light yellow gems and can sometimes come in a colorless form.
December: Tanzanite
Tanzanite is a rare gem that can only be found in Tanzania. It is a beautiful deep blue color due to the traces of vanadium.
